Are you interested in a gastronomic adventure?

The Xavier School Parents' Auxiliary (XSPA) Outreach Committee is organizing a special cooking class with Chef Reggie Aspiras on the 10th of December. For a minimal fee of PhP1, 688.00, you will learn how to cook a spectacular Christmas menu* and taste a sampling of her interesting Christmas dishes.

In addition, your participation will allow the XSPA to gift every  teacher from ERDA Technical and Vocational Secondary School with a Noche Buena Gift Box which consists of Christmas table staples such as Purefoods Jamon de Bola, Purefoods Queso de Bola, a sack of Doňa Maria Rice, Purefoods Corned Beef, Nutri Snack Pack, San Mig Coffee and a 1950s Pan de Sal gift certificate. (Cost of 1 Noche Buena gift box is PhP 1,688.00. The amount you will share shall be used to purchase the above items.)

The cooking event will be on Dec. 10 (Thursday), 9:45 AM – 2:00 PM, at the Angelo King Multi-Purpose Center. Register by sending your reply slip and payment on or before 17 November 2009 (Tuesday). Only 51 slots are availalbe since ERDA TECH has 51 faculty members. (1slot is equivalent to 1 Noche Buena Gift Bo). Please make check payable to Xavier School Parents’ Auxiliary (Noche Buena)

ERDA TECH has been adopted by Xavier School as a primary beneficiary of its institutional outreach. It is a school that provides technical and educational assistance to the less-privileged youth. Most of the ERDA TECH teachers were gravely affected by the devastation brought about by the recent typhoon and are currently rebuilding their lives. Because of this, we thought that a simple gesture of providing them with a simple feast to welcome the Lord on the day of his birth is a most meaningful  way of keeping the true spirit of Christmas alive.
