XAVIER SCHOOL helps ET StudentsBy Marc Magsalin ERDA Tech was among those that benefited from the assistance of the Xavier School Community in Greenhills, City of San Juan after the onslaught of typhoon Ondoy. Relief goods in the form of food, school materials, clothes, and many more were donated and distributed to all the students.
From a survey conducted by the Guidance Office and Social Services Unit, floods affected more than 75% of the student population. The proximity of their residences to the Pasig River made their situation even worse. Fortunately, damages to properties were very minimal.
Distribution of clothes was done “ukay-ukay” style—to the delight of the students. As everyone went home, faces beamed with happiness and excitement as each one brought home different goodies. As a token of gratitude, one section even made a poster of thanks addressed to the school administration.

To the XAVIER SCHOOL COMMUNITY, thank you for your generosity!
