Fr. Marie Joseph, SJ visits ERDA Tech

Last September 25, Fr. Marie Joseph, SJ a consultant of the Ministry of Education in Kabul, Afghanistan, visited ERDA Tech. Fr. Marie hails from Calcutta, India and has been very active in the educational apostolate of the Society of Jesus.

His visit was intended to provide him with first hand knowledge of ERDA Tech’s structure particularly, the technical and vocational programs. Together with the Mrs. Jane Natividad, Fr. Marie was given a tour of the entire campus. Being an IT expert himself, Fr. Marie provided very helpful insights on how to improve the school’s technical capabilities.

When asked what struck him after the tour, he said that there were many similarities shared by ERDA Tech and the technical schools in India and Afghanistan. For one, the courses offered are very relevant and aligned towards employability after graduation.

Fr. Marie was housed at the Jesuit Residence of Xavier School in Greenhills, City of San Juan, Metro Manila and was on a weeklong mission to visit Jesuit institutions in the country.
